When adding students and teachers to the assignment, it is important that they have a Google account in your domain. Trelson only works with Google Workspace for Education accounts. You can not use private accounts to write assignments or act as a teacher.
Students
- If you want to add individual students or one student at a time, select the option "Add user as student" and enter the student's email address.
- To add a Google group of students, select "Add group members as student". By group is meant an existing group that is centrally created within your Google domain.
- To add students from a Google Classroom roster, select "Add students from course".
Individual customizations
If you want to add customizations for an individual student, click on the three dots to the right of the student’s name and select customizations.
These customizations will then only apply to this specific student and will not affect the other students who write the test.
For customizations, you can choose the background color of the writing surface. Some students with dyslexia, for example, prefer to have a pastel background. Talk to your students and ask what that particular student prefers.
Teachers
To add a teacher to the test, select the TEACHER tab. To the right, then click on "Add teacher". Added teachers are eligible for both the test and the students' assignments. Under the tab "Teacher" you then see all the teachers who have access to the exam. If you want to delete a teacher, click on the trash icon to the right of the email address. You can add teachers whenever you want during the exam.
