Teachers can now set their preferred default exam settings directly from their personal settings page. Once configured, these settings will automatically apply each time a new exam is created, saving you time. Let's walk you through how to access and customize your default exam settings.
How to set default settings for new exams
- Sign in as a teacher in Trelson Assessment.
- Go to your profile up on the right, and click on 'My settings'.
- On the tab 'Assignment preferences' you set your preferred default settings for new exams. For example: The exam is to be submitted automatically at the deadline, some assistive tools should always be accessible to your students, and the default security client should be Safe Exam Browser.
- Save your changes by clicking on the 'Save' button on the bottom on the page.
- Done! Now these settings you have chosen will be set as default once you create a new exam.
Good to know
- When you create a new task and your default settings are applied, you can, of course, change them if the settings should not apply to a specific task.
- If you have access to templates in Trelson Assessment, your default settings will also be applied when you create a new template.
- You can change your default settings at any time. The changes will not affect tasks that have already been created.
