When creating an assignment or an exam, you have the opportunity to provide written instructions to your students. These instructions will appear in a specific box to the right when the student opens the assignment. It is important to note that students can choose to close and reopen the instructions at any time during the assignment.
Here's how to provide instructions:
-
Log in: Log in to Trelson Assessment as a teacher.
-
Create a new assignment: Click on "Create" and then select "Assignment" to create a new assignment.
-
Provide instructions (optional): At the bottom of the page for creating the new assignment, you will find a special box titled "Instructions for students." Write your instructions here. Note: If you do not want to provide instructions immediately, you can leave the instruction box empty. You can fill in the instructions later by going to "All options" when editing your created assignment.
-
Other settings: Specify any other settings for the assignment, such as name, date/time, and assisting tools, according to your preferences. For more information on other assignment settings, check out our help article on creating an assignment.
-
Complete: Click on "Create" to complete and begin building your assignment with questions, resources, or other materials.
When the student opens the assignment, your instructions will be clearly visible. If you want to see what it looks like for the student, check out the images at the bottom of this article.
