Anonymous assignments can be good to use to ensure the student that he gets an unbiased assessment and as a guarantee that the teacher has no preconceived notions about the student in the process. To create an anonymous assignment, click on "Anonymize submissions" when you create the assignment.
It is important to note that the submissions will not be created until 45 minutes after the end of the assignment.
When the student has opened an anonymous assignment, the teacher will not be able to identify the student by pressing the eye icon to monitor the assignment.
Also, the teacher will not be able to open a specific student's submission from Trelson, but will have to go to the assignment folder in Google Drive.
Any assignment that is submitted receives a unique ID that the teacher can use at a later stage to identify the student when the assignment is de-anonymized.
De-anonymization
To de-anonymize the test, the teacher who has access to the test must click on the three dots on the right and select "De-anonymize students".
In the teacher's Google Drive, all file names will now be changed to also include the student's name and the student's unique ID.
In the assignment folder in Google Drive, a spreadsheet is created with a list of all students and their unique ID to facilitate identification.
